Mindfulness Minute
Hello, and thank you for joining me for a mindfulness minute :)
Please read slowly, and move slowly through this email. We have 60 seconds together, there is no rush.

First, You are holding tension in your body, and now is the time to release it.
Move your head from shoulder to shoulder. Arch your back and make your shoulder blades touch, curve your back the other way to feel a stretch, and release. Move your torso around a little bit, do some wrist circles, do some ankle circles.
You have released tension. Take a moment to appreciate the feeling.
We are together for four breathing exercises taken from the Anapanasati Sutra, a teaching from the Buddha on mindful breathing.
Focusing on the in-breath:
As I breathe in, I am aware that I am breathing in.
Focusing on the out-breath:
As I breathe out, I am aware that I am breathing out.
As I breathe in a long breath, I know I am breathing in a long breath.
As I breathe out a long breath, I know I am breathing out a long breath.
As I breathe in, I am aware of my whole body.
As I breathe out, I am aware of my whole body.
As I breathe in, I calm my whole body.
As I breathe out, I calm my whole body.
Take a moment to savor the quiet and the peace you have nurtured within yourself.
Enjoy your Tuesday : )
Love, Hannah
