Spring! (she loves gardening analogies)
🌷🌻🌺🌱🌷🌻🌸
Hi newsletter audience,
I hope you are doing well! From what I see on social media and from what I hear from friends, everyone seems to be abuzz. There’s spring energy in the air!
Spring is all about renewal, regeneration, and rebirth. People seem to be traveling more, finding their stride in their new homes, allowing more creative or spiritual endeavors to emerge. What are you noticing in yourself or your surroundings as the turn of the season approaches us?

Just went outside and took this pic of my daffodils. First signs of spring over here ;)
I deep cleaned my bathrooms + cat litterboxes last weekend, and I must’ve had my mouth open the whole time, inhaling every single fume I released, because I got sick IMMEDIATELY. Super sore throat, evolved into a runny nose, evolved into full-blown laryngitis today, and now I’m on 24-hour vocal rest because it hurts to do anything. That’s fine. I got to do some fun stuff this weekend regardless B)

Shortly after taking that daffodil pic, I was immediately sent into a dry coughing fit… had to whip out the water heater and steam my larynx real quick
I am in my spring energy too!! I started hypnotherapy school ~1 month ago, and I am loving it. Not only do I love the subject material, but I also love being in school again and learning from a teacher. I’ve come up with all sorts of things to implement on my social media, I’ve been reading again, I’ve been drawing up new pottery creations, and I signed up for a meal-kit service to provide regular, clean meals for myself (thank GOD). Yay spring!
(quick note…. I love seasons both externally and internally…sometimes the turn of an external season doesn’t always line up with the turn of an internal season…each realm is beautiful in its own regard…)

this is how I feel on vocal rest, not able to talk to anyone, not even myself
In a literal and metaphorical sense, I have a tendency to see my first spring flowers pop up, go “oh yayyy, flowers!!”, and buzz around energized but aimless until all of a sudden it’s summertime, I missed the chance to plant more things, and those first flowers are all I ever saw. (In other words, I get excited about signs of early progress, lose track of my end goal, and miss the opportunity to sustain my momentum).
Not this year. I gained a valuable skill called foresight. I’m trimming the dead, pulling the weeds, laying the mulch, and nurturing some plants, baby!
Y’all know I love gardening analogy…..but analogies aside, I’m enjoying my current pace, and I look forward to maintaining it as the weeks unfold. I’m enjoying living alone, being single, and ..wow, I guess, I’m enjoying my own company? :) how did I get here?? Eee!
Thank you for reading as always! Until next time.
Love, Hannah
