With the correct why you can bear any how

“With the correct why, you can bear any how.”

that’s a rough paraphrasing of a Nietzsche quote that is ruling my mind right now.

with the correct why you can bear any how…

I’m not sure if it’s because I’m developmentally challenged , if it’s the way COVID hit my generation, or if it’s just the experience of humanity, but I’ve always struggled to do anything regularly

regularly exercise, regularly feed myself, regularly care for my house/home, regularly care for my physical body, emotional body, intellectual body

that ADHD book title - “You Mean I’m Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy?!”

but really, I’ve felt infantile for struggling with these things in my mid-late twenties.

mind over matter…mind over matter…the first step comes when you decide you want something to change. but that’s just 12% of your mind (your conscious mind). what about the remaining 88% (your subconscious) that says “ehhhhhh we’ll stick with what we know”? consciously deciding you want something to change is the first step, but it isn’t enough. the 88% needs to be on board too.

I guess receiving hypnotherapy really changed my life, because I’ve been trying for weeks and months and years to learn how to “do stuff regularly” but it wasn’t until I started hypnotherapy sessions specifically around self-worth that I actually got off my ass and did something about it

I did the 12%, and now hypnotherapy is helping me do the 88%

I decided I wanted to regularly care for myself, and now hypnotherapy is showing me, yes, you deserve it.

increasing my self-worth has directly affected how I value my time. I guess when you see yourself as valuable, you see your time as valuable too

with the correct why you can bear any how….

if I’m valuable, and I have goals I want to achieve, then it only makes sense that I need to see them through. it only makes sense to shape my schedule around seeing them through. it only makes sense that I need to do whatever it takes to be the most clear-headed and stable version of myself I can be …..so I can see my goals through

adding this to the book of Everything I’ve Ever Learned. more later. this is all for now (>ᴗ•)
